number, state, locality, or an employer-specified
data field.
After searching the W-2s, you can print
a single W-2, all W-2s, or a range of W-2s.
If you prefer, you can export the W-2 data
to be used with popular business tools such
as a spreadsheet.
The CD-ROM Archive option is available
with either the Initial Service or Reissue
Service.

Links are provided from TALX so
your employees can simply chose their online
tax preparation service. Users with desktop
software use their SSN and TALX PIN
to import their W-2 information directly
into their tax return. The import takes
seconds and eliminates data entry errors.
If you are already using The Work Number®
for employment verification services, your
employees can authorize the release of a current
or prior-year W-2. Employees can quickly provide
W-2 information to mortgage lenders and others
who need the information – no need to
dig out printed W-2s and run off copies.
TALX services and The Work Number use the
same authentication process for the employee
who wants to grant one-time access to data.
The employee only needs one ID and PIN to
access both services. The integration of
The Work Number and W-2 services provides
improved service to your employees, reduced
costs, and a faster, easier process for
lenders and other organizations your employees
do business with.
TALX offers optional services to
streamline federal and state tax filings.
You can receive your W-2 information on
magnetic media that meets the requirements
for state and federal filings, as well as
filings with the Social
Security Administration. (Not all states
accept filings on magnetic media.)
Through our T4 services, TALX offers
printing and distribution services for the
Canadian T4, T4a and RL-1 tax slips. In
addition, a reprint service allows employees
to obtain copies of their T4 and RL-1 tax
slips. A CD-ROM Archive is also available
that includes the ability to issue corrections.
